Stanta'sha Howard

Stanta'sha was an ensemble member at Free Street from 2007-2009.  She played Mecca, the woman aging in reverse in the remount of Mad Joy.  She helped create and performed in Between These Walls.  Stanta'sha is a founder of NeruoKitchen. She is an actor in the movie Breathe (by Stanton Long.)
The years I've worked with Free Street were an oasis in the desert of isolated thoughts of my subconscious loneliness. The writing workshops helped me unleash my inner artist. If it wasn't for Free Street I think that 15 year old writer, actor, performer would have died of dehydration. Without the water from that Big Mind and the Deep Well I probably would have been another statistic. Who knows? I thank the directors of Free Street for seeing potential in me that I couldn't see in myself.
